----Dr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Alaska, a Master of
Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Martin's College, and a Doctor
of Business Administration (DBA) from Nova Southeastern University. He
has taught at several universities in the United States, including Central
Washington University, the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University,
and Henry Cogswell College - where he served as dean of the School of
Business. He is currently an associate professor and chair of the faculty
of Business Administration at Lakehead University, in Canada. His articles
have been published in leading academic journals, including International
Marketing Review, Services Marketing Quarterly, Journal of Global Business,
Journal of Current Research in Global Business, Journal of International
Marketing and Exporting, Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship,
and Journal of Global Competitiveness. He is the editor of the Journal
of Applied Business and Economics.
